Astrum GD-MS for High purity material analysis

Glow Discharge mass spectrometry (GD-MS) is the benchmark technique used for the direct analysis of high purity materials. It can measure matrix to ultra-trace (sub ppb) levels in one scan for most elements of the periodic table. The technique, and especially our Astrum GD-MS, is well suited for the analysis of conductive, semi-conductive and even inorganic non-conductive materials in different forms such as solid blocks, powders, wires and foils. It is widely used in industry as a tool for process checks, quality control and product certification.
In this presentation the principle of GD-MS will be described and the advantages for high purity material analysis will be discussed.
