WEBINAR - Vitesse TOF-ICP-MS

Improvements in analytical techniques using ICP-MS with Vitesse time-of-flight mass analyzer

Many advancements have been made over the past years in the field of elemental imaging analysis using LA-ICP-MS. While the most frequently used mass analyzer is still the quadrupole, this detection method has serious limitations. To truly use the most advanced methods presently available for LA-ICP-MS to their fullest potential, a time-of-flight mass analyzer like the Vitesse is necessary.

In this presentation, the limitations of the current standard methods along with new possibilities using the Vitesse for imaging will be shown. Examples from geological and biomedical samples will demonstrate the potentials which arise when combining the full elemental detection capabilities with the acquisition speeds the Vitesse is capable of.
